Time is ‘Running’ out to register for the AFA 5k

We are hosting our first ‘AFA 5k’ Jog and Walk chip-timed race on certification #IL-12104-JW this Saturday, July 23, 2016.  It’s just a few days away!

Registration and packet pickup is 7:30am.  The race begins at 8:30am at McCarthy Park, 16801 S. 80^th Avenue, Tinley Park, Illinois.  Register now to avoid lines!  To register and for more info about the race including the price, the course, photos, video and directions, please visit our Participate Page on our website.  You can start or join a team too!  Click for printable flyers.

Participants are able to enter raffles for prizes such as a Samsung SHAPE M7 Wireless Audio Speaker, OPI nail products, Chicago White Sox tickets, passes to LEGOLAND in Schaumburg and more.

Answers for Angels tentatively scheduled an interview with a courageous cancer patient, who chose to use alternative methods in treating Stage 3 Breast Cancer.  She is motivated to talk of her journey in using some of the treatments to treating cancer and healing her body and of any struggles she encountered along the way.
